The Los Cabos International Airport (LCIA) is a major port of entry into the Cabo San Lucas region. It is a full-service facility with customs and immigration services available during all flight operations. With 25 flights arriving and departing on a daily basis, the LCIA is considered the seventh busiest airport in Mexico. On average, more than 3 million passengers use the facility on an annual basis.
Like most major airports, LCIA has connections with many ground transportation services, including private cars, rental cars, taxis, shuttles and limos. Depending upon the specific locale, the LCIA is about a half-hour drive from Cabo San Lucas. Most major car rental companies have a presence at LCIA.
LCIA has three terminals, each dedicated to different airline carriers and distinguishing between domestic and international flights. Like any U.S. airport, passengers arriving at LCIA need to go through a series of security measures before boarding flights.
